Part of the Croft Hardware Front Entrance Door Fittings Range, this beautifully hand-finished design featured the word "Letters" engraved into the letter flap, and incorporating a turned brass handle. Uncomplicated and striking, the Victorian engraved letter plate is crafted by hand in substantial solid 3mm brass. The "letters" engraving on letter plates is a fine British tradition, and has been used for centuries, from the earliest days of the postal service. Croft Hardware letter plates are some of the highest quality letter plates on the market today, and are heavier and more substantial than many other manufacturers' letter plates.
