Since installing this tap my hot water flow is definitely slowed down and very weak . Can you give me some advice please
Thanks Trevor

Hello Trevor,

Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a weak hot water flow after installing your new tap. Whilst we are not plumbing experts, there are a few common reasons this might be happening.

Here are some things to check:

Water Pressure & System Compatibility – Some single-lever taps require a minimum water pressure to function properly. If you have a gravity-fed (low-pressure) system rather than a mains pressure system (e.g., combi boiler or unvented cylinder), this could be the cause.

Blocked Aerator or Filter – Sometimes, small debris from the plumbing system can get caught in the aerator or filter inside the tap, restricting flow. You could try unscrewing the aerator at the end of the spout and cleaning it to see if that improves the flow.

Isolation Valves – If the tap has individual isolation valves on the hot and cold supply, check that they are fully open. Sometimes they may not be fully turned on after installation, restricting water flow.

Pipework or Blockage Issues – If your previous tap had a stronger flow, it might be worth checking if any debris from the installation is blocking the pipes leading to the tap.

We trust this helps to troubleshoot, but do let us know if we can help further.
